xkang is on a distinguished road
Hi,
I am looking for information about how to use UDF function to simulate laser beam inside a flow field.
Based on the information i collected right now, i can treat laser beam as a heat source and MACRO_SOURCE may be one option to define a spatial heat source in cell zone. And for heat source intensity distribution, gauss distribution may be something i can look into.

does someone has experience about this topic? I really want to know am i in the right direction or there is some other method for laser beam simulation.

Thanks ahead,

Xu
