Hello Everybody,

I have what I think is a very basic issue. I am running an unsteady problem with variable time stepping. Now when I use the autosave feature, I can only save case and data files after a certain number of time-steps.

This means that I do not have control of when (flow-time wise) FLUENT writes out the case and data files leading to files at 0.77301, 0.8534, 1.210001 seconds etc..

I was wondering if there is a way that I can use a Journal file to check for flow time and write out case and data files periodically at flow-times of 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 seconds..

Or atleast, is there a way that I can use something like an if loop or while loop to check for the flow time..

Any suggestion would be appreicated.

Thank you.
