Hello All,
I am trying to simulate the effect of electric field on methane-air flame. The electric field will induce movements of ions within the flame due to potential difference. Hence, I need to define a new diffusion source called (Ambipolar diffusion) which is computed as follows: I want to add this diffusion term to the energy equation since the diffused ions carry heat due (as enthalpy), but I need to compute the divergence of the ambipolar diffusion source that I defined in the UDF code. Does anyone know how? or in general an easier way to include this diffusion effect? I appreciate all the help! Last edited by Holagee; April 5, 2019 at 00:15. |
