Hi All,
Anybody working on carona discharge and electric field UDF?. Please help me in writing UDF. I have a probelm in setting ion density and voltage at the electrode. John Last edited by johnwinter; August 18, 2011 at 05:01. |

Nothing yet, but i have understood that i have to couple Fortran or MATLAB with Fluent to do that. Do you have any clue?? John |

You can always use a User Defined Scalar to solve for the potential field, with the charge density as a source term. If the charge density varies is space, then you'll need to write down a transport equation for it, and solve it as a user defined scalar too.
