Sorry guys,
I am the new user of the ANSYS Fluent user and currently i was using ansys 14.0...

I have some question in doing the 2D analysis where:

1. Is it i need do the enclosure or other features in geometry when i import the 2D sketches from the SolidWork...

2. Is it the tetra-10 mesh is not available for 2D...

Hi Jchan,

Tetra-10 is a higher order 3D FEA element, you should not be using any 3D elements, let alone quadratic ones. What mesh generator are you using?

You will need some sort of enclosure for your model. Have a look at the 2D car tutorial in Fluent for an example.
