Hello.
I am modeling a steady state channel with two inlet for water and air (velocity inlet) and with 1 outlet(pressure outlet). In the middle of channel two inlet with pressure inlet are for aeration. (i am not using open channel flow in multiphase panel) After 814 iteration fluent is writing " solution is converged" but the flow does not arrive to outlet? I am very confused. The residuals for all parameters are 1e-3 I decreased the continuity residual criteria to 1e-5 but i want to know what the problem is? I think the continuity residual should not arrive to 1e-3 because the inlet are not equal to outlet. The attached image is residuals Please help thanks Last edited by flow_CH; July 27, 2013 at 15:06. |
