I have designed the cylinder which has a shallow dish piston head which moves from TDC to BDC. This motion works correct however when it reaches BDC the motion stops and doesn't travel back to TDC despite the crank angle increasing.
I have the top of the piston set as stationary and the piston head as rigid body with *piston full* profile. It is also set for smoothing and layering with the in-cylinder option on. Can anyone help please? Thanks Michael |

I have managed to find a solution to this.
can anyone tell me how to select a region on the mesh and seperate it to create another cell zone to use as the inlet for the fuel? I have tried using adapt-region to select an area then using mesh-seperate-cells but the area isn't being created. Using ansys 14.5 |
