Default Extra shadow and duplicate surfaces

Hello everyone,

I have a serious problem with appearances of extra surfaces after I import a mesh from IcemCFD to Fluent. However I would like to know if those are inevitable if the surfaces are between two different zones.
The actual problem is the appearance of new surfaces if I am using non-equilibrium in porous media model, and if the porous medium is contained in a pipe. This way, I end up with 4 coinciding surfaces. The consequent problem emerges when I try to simulate conjugate heat transfer. I can choose "coupled" boundary condition in the wall menu for only three of the four surfaces. The other wall does not have "coupled" as an option. It has "via system coupling" instead. Is this the right choice?

Thank you very much
