hey friends!
i'm working on a turbo-machinery problem! i have a problem with periodic BCs! as appears in the pic, I have 4 fluid zones and 2 different periodic BCs as A & B! as you see in pic, three domains of my 4 domains have periodic except zone 2! after i defined the periodic BCs and set the view, i saw that zones 1,3,4 repeated but zone 2 didn't repeated! Do you think my solution logic is correct? or should I make some Reforms on it? tnx Last edited by amin.z; December 28, 2014 at 04:11. |

In terms of the solution strategy, I think it is okay.
As it is, the view should not repeat zone 2 because it is not a repeated zone (there are no periodic boundaries on zone 2). However, zone 2 is correctly coupled through interior interfaces with the other zones (1,3, & 4). For presentation I am not sure how to repeat zone 2 but looks ok. |
