Goutam is on a distinguished road
I am using Fluent and using a 3d pipe of length L = 1 m along x axis and radius = 0.0095 m.

For horizontal 3d pipe, the coordinates are: x = 0 to 1, y and z are -0.0095 to +0.0095. I create the mid-plane by setting x0=0, x1=0, x2=1 and y0=-0.0095, y1=-0.0095, y2=0.0095 and z0=z1=z2=0. This was fine and I got the mid-plane.

Now I rotate the pipe and theta = 60 degree. Then x, y and z coordinates becomes x: -0.008227242 to 0.5082273, y: -0.004750001 to 0.8707754 and z: -0.0095 to +0.0095.

How to create the mid-plane now?

Whats the process for different inclined pipe in fluent?

If anyone know the procedure, could you please explain.

Thanks in advance.
