i'm new to cfd. I have a questions.
i must study 2 phase. (water and air) i didn't find free surface heights so i try face split and I divide the surfaces into 2 parts. However i didn't set boundary condition. When i set the water inlet to water liquid, air inlet become phase 1 itself. However i want to: Water inlet --> Phase 1 Air inlet --> phase 2 what will i do? thanks a lot |

You can define phases as you need in "Solution Setup->Phases". And you should name inlets like inlet 1, inlet 2... for good management of boundary. I think so.
Good luck. |

Thank you for your reply, friend. Unfortunately, i set the phase you say but if i set water inlet --> phase 1, air inlet become phase 1 by itself. If i set air inlet--->phase 2, water inlet become phase 2 by itself

According to what you said, If you turned on multiphase model, phase of each inlet depends on your phase order (which is the primary, which is the second) and factor in multiphase tab of boundary properties.
I hope my words can be helpful. More detailed photos, more clear resolution! Good luck. |
