Hi every body
I am a student. In some parts of my thesis I need to design a hydrocyclone.
But I have some problem with design. I would be grateful if a person could guide me in design and select diameter of an efficient hydrocyclone.
I don’t know what the design steps are exactly.
If we have below data, what is the first step and how is the relationship between cut size and reduced total efficiency?
Mass flow rate
Design Pressure
Inlet Solid Size and concentration
Density of fluid and solids
Viscosity
Solid Removal as process Guarantee (for example 90% of 150 µm)
