Contours of density gradient in fluent 5?

Default Contours of density gradient in fluent 5?

I'm modeling air jets of various exit geometries which I've previously taken experimental measurements from. As well as comparing quantitative measurements with the CFD I'd like to compare the Schlieren images I took of the test jets with the CFD. Is there a easy way of making Fluent 5.2.3 display the jet as a Schlieren image (changes in density gradient) for direct comparison with my experimental images. Do I need to use User Defined Functions?

p.s. I think the UDF database idea would be a great idea. Although I don't really have anything to contribute to it, it would be al least a starting point for those like myself just starting to think about using them.

I am not sure about the problem what you are saying. But i think that you can take the pressure plots from the fluent and then compare them with your experimental images. Since pressure is directly proportional to density you can compare the results.

Yah true, but Fluent itself gives Gradient Density contour.
