Default Mixing with multiple diameter

Can anyone tell me about solving solid liquid mixing with multiple diameter. Is VOF applicable for this system?. If so, then how to define the particle diameter. I considered DPM , where i can define variety diameter particle using Rosin Rammler, but it's limited for low concentration, and my mixing system hasn't input.

Any suggestion??.
