Is there any reason to prefer Pentium 3 over Pentium 4 when money does not matter ? Did anyone tried benchmark computations with say PIII 1GHz and P4 1.7GHz ? What is the ratio ?

Almost a factor of 3 !! (Tested with Comet)

Fluent runs much faster on the P4 - see the benchmarks I posted on this forum a few weeks ago.
