Suppose I have a 3d problem using tetrahedral grids and I want to plot the velocity magnitude along a vertical line, say in y direction. Concerning about what value is used for the node value, I have two questions: 1. If the node value is interpolated from the cell value, what kind of interpolation method is used in Fluent? 2. Does it do interpolation in all three directions? Another word is if we use the cell value directly, will the x and z interpolation of the cell values be done in Fluent since the vertical line may not pass the center point of the cell?

Thanks a lot for your time. Jun
