Hi
How can I input a boundary layer that is changing with time (i.e. when the velocity is a function of time)? I am trying to model the airflow inside the intake manifold of a four-cylinder internal combustion engine and therefore I have to use a variable intake velocity at the intake ports. THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT I know there are software's that simulate the boundary condition but my university won't supply them to me. Regards, Jack |

Hey, If you know the profile of your intake velocity you can define it by UDF and set it as inlet boundary condition.
Hope this is what you want to know. |
