dinhanh is on a distinguished road
Hi, I am doing cavitation simualtion inside a nozzle. The boundary at input and output are from experimental. At inlet, pressure boundary is used. From experiment, I have static pressure and flow rate data. From that I can calculate the total pressure at inlet as follow:
Ptotal=Psta+0.5RhoU^2
And at outlet, static pressure is fixed.
From simulation result, I compared the mass flow rate, but simulation result is less than experimental data. I tried to do with both steady and transient. For steady calculation, the residuals fall down below 10e-8, and mass flow rate monitor is unchange. Similar was done for transient untill mass flow rate unchange. But both cases, the mass flow rate are smaller than real about 25%.
I have no ideal why this happened.
Could you suggest a solution for my problem?
