Hello,
I'm trying to model a planing craft on water using Fluent. My question is how do I visualize the waves (hopefully in 3d) around the craft? Please let me know if you know a good way to do this. Thanks. |

I have found a way to do this: at Surface->Iso-Surface, set to Suruface of Constant Phases and vof value of 0.5, then at Display->Grid, tick "faces" on and select the iso-surface you made from the "Surfaces" list, then at Display->Lights, set lighting method to Gourand.
This produces a 3D image (whith shades) of water surface (i.e. free surface). |
