Hello there!

I am new in CFD, I am assigned to simulate an ejector pump with CFD code, Fluent & GAMBIT. I tried with simple design but can't maximize the effect. Here my primary and secondary fluid is air.

So thing is that, air coming from nozzle is air with low pressure and high velocity(4-8 m/s) which will suck air through suction head. And passes through diffuser section.

What should be the best design aspect to maximize the suction?

HELP ME PLEASE!!!

JG

Howdy,

Did you ever get to a solution?

I would like to use an ejector pump to dilute the exhaust stream of an engine. Do you have design reccomendations?

Thanks, Doc
