Regarding to Total Pressure, Please Help

I have a simple input output system of a non-Newtonian flow that is not effected by temperature. I am trying to find the gauge pressure drop of around 10kPa from in and output. Once I solve the simulation do I just look at the surface integral of the input and output set to facet average and find the total pressure? say I get input 17522pa and output as 3285pa is my pressure drop = 14236pa or is it 20807pa? Direction in which the forces are, when regards to fluent confuses me sometimes and not sure if fluent is using the absolute value for the pressure. Cause inflow is +ve and outflow is -ve.
