I am trying to get the mass flow rate out of a 5 blades blower. The blower runs at 10,000 rpm. So far I have modeled 1/5 of the blower using mass flow as the inlet and pressure out as the outlet.
After running the model and when the mass flow rate at the outlet levels out, the velocity I am getting is huge, ~500 m/s. Even if I reduced the rpm to half (5,000 rpm), the velocity is still in the ~500 m/s range. any ideas why I am getting such a large value for velocity. |
