Hi guys, I am just a novice in Fluent and Gambit. I had a question about meshing in Gambit. I need to make design for downhole equipments in drilling application. I needed to know whether there is any calculation for deciding average mesh size. I know about equation involving Courants number, but my study is not time dependant. So I would really appreciate if anyone could reply on any equation which would help me in deciding the mesh size.

Thanking in anticipation.
