Default Floating Point Error

Hi there,

I'm running a ~950000 cell combustion calc, and after a little while of the residuals converging nicely(as with 650k model), SUDDENLY the residuals shoot up and the turbulent viscosity ratio starts being limited in more and more cells. Eventually I get a message saying floating point error and the simulation stops running. Has anyone experienced this before?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks Phil

Have you try to coarsen your grid? Sometimes in my simulation a fine grid might cause error message like this

I's sure you wouldn't have missed reducing under-relaxation factors.
