In my model while iterating..every time i get some errors like:
Divergence detected in AMG solver: temperature Divergence detected in AMG solver: x-momentum/y-momentum and at last floating point error: invalid number What does they implies? it is related to under-relaxation factor? How could i solve these type of errors?? And what is floating point error. How can it be avoid.?? |

You should do the followings
1. If you are using Implicit scheme, reduce you Courant no to 1 and then iterate, if same problem again accurs reduce it more until your solution stablizes 2. If you are using Explicit scheme, reduce Courant no <<1 in order to stablize your solution and also reduce your Under Relaxation Factors 3. Floating point error occurs when something gets divided by zero in iterations, so check your BC's and specify the correct velocities, pressures etc Good luck |
