Hello all.
I am requireing some assistance on modeling an atomised spray. (to visualise i am trying to model say a car paint sprayer but with water.) I am using an air blast atomiser, with the conditions set to what i want. i am trying to use an unsteady approach so i can use the droplet break up model. however i get 2 main errors, 1) the spray does not progress as fast as it should. 3) the residuals diverge when the time steps increase too high. i have basically set a box of 300x300x600. set all walls and an outlet at one side. on the opposite side to the outlet i have a inlet split into the wall of radius 0.4mm this expells air at 60m/s. i have used all sorts of models, length scales, time steps and DPM steps. i cannot seem to get any conclusive results. please can anybody help? |
