Hi friends, Whether all the CFD analysis required thermal layer meshing, pls can any one tell me the theory behind it.

When ever convective Heat Transfer physics involved, at that region we need to more resolutions, thats the reason we go for the thermal boundary layer Meshing

Hi somu, thanks for ur reply, suppose if i am doing only fuid flow analysis, in that i am not concentrating heat transfer, in this case whether i have to use thermal boundary layer for my meshing???
