Hi all,
I would like to model a cylidrical volume with a small porous region inside, in Fluent. So I have defined a region of the cylindrical volume as porous zone in boundary conditions panel. Buti didn't understand some of the options in Porous zone menu. Can anyone please help me what the following items represent and when i have to activate these options. 1. Relative velocity resistance formulation(what does it mean and when should i activate it) 2. Inertial resistance (what does it mean and when should i activate it) 3. Powerlaw model(what does it mean and when should i activate it) 4. Fluid porocity(what does it mean and when should i activate it) thanks in advance |
