can any one tell me what is the setting for the SOLVER and VISCOUS. am trying to simulate the flow past a circuler cylinder 2D.

The setting used for CFD simulations are very dependant on the type of flow and physical phenomena you are trying to model. Since you are simulating flow past a cylinder, I will assume you are interested in vortex shedding behind the cylinder. This flow changes significantly over time so you will need to use Unsteady in the SOLVER settings.
The choice of VISCOUS settings depends on the accuracy that you require. You can obtain a solution using the standard k-e model or any of the other turbulence models that have greater complexity. |
