Please send me the UDF too and explain what each numeric value in this UDF represents too.

Is i have to use my wave data in UDF numeric values?

Please email me any suitable documents at engr.ahsanbaig@gmail.com.

Kindly provide me tutorial for option 2.

Also guide how animation files can be created in Ansys Fluent and wave elevation can be plotted at particular time / location along horizontal axis of tank.

Your response is awaited which will be helpful for me to complete my thesis work.

Thanks for your time. I am looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Just define velocity components: horizontal and vertical - and water free level using UDF. I think it's simpler. If you need I can send you my UDF file.
Also, don't forget about wave reflection from outlet boundary because of using pressure-outlet boundary conditions.
Hi WSWGg

I want to simulate an open-channel with surface waves. I want to define wave boundary condition at the inlet using (linear) airy theory. But the numerical results dont converge. There is "Floating Point error" most of the time. How can i solve this problem? , Do i have to define UDF at the inlet?
PLEASE help me with this problem.

Hi WSWGg

I have a similar problem.
Could you PLEASE send your UDF file to my Email. It would be helpful.
My Email: sep.farid@yahoo.com

Thanks a lot.

Hello friends,

I am currently doing a simulation regarding sloshing tank, and i need the wave.msh and libudf file from the ANSYS fluent tutorial 10, Simulation of wave generation in a tank, in urgent. Can anyone send it to me if you have the material? My email is shikyuan1994@gmail.com. Appreciate a lot if you can help me.

Ok, I'll do this, I'll send you my UDF, but after January 1st, ok?
I've got a little problems at the moment.
