Importing in Gambit

Hey,
I'm trying to import a couple of meshes into an existing mesh and Gambit automatically seems to generate non-real geometries - the imported faces are all called f_facexxx (what does f_ stand for?) As the convert-virtual-to-real option doesn't seem to work for the faces (Gambit always crashes), I was wondering whether anyone has had a similar problem? I've tried exporting/importing various formats, e.g. .msh and .neu, but the problem persists. Do you know how to export and then import meshes, so that they don't change and in particular to generate non-real geometries? Any advice would be much appreciated, CC |
