The value of velocity -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

swe704 New Member Jin Chen Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: sweden Posts: 27 Rep Power: 17	Hi all, In my case,I provide the uniform (consistent)velocity with the magnitude of 1.5m/s at the inlet surface(the surface consists of several small faces,all them are with the value of 1.5m/s),but when i check the inlet surface again after simulation,i get the value of 1.55m/s(Vectors-velocity-deselect auto range-get the maximum value).Why these two values are not consistent?Does this mean some part in mesh or Fluent is wrong? I do hope i can get some explainations from you. Thanks in advance.
