i'm carrying out acoustic related analysis for engine turbine
in the 2-d case for single stage i gt true resluts i.e. the sound amplitude lowered down with increasing roughness or blade damage but once i did the nalysis for 2 stage case the resulkts were different..my receivers locations were ths time differnt i.e they were farther away frm the the sources which in my case are the 2 rotor blades........i damaged the 1st rotor in ths case n the sound amplitude for dagaed case ws greater than the one wth simple geometry.........
help me out
