Hello,

Now I am simulating an unsteady case. I want to plot the trajectories of some particals (pathlines). However, I think the pathline feature can only plot streamlines which are identical with pathlines in the steady flow. So I wonder if Fluent can meet my need. Thank you.

Display/Graphics and Animation/Particle Tracks
Then choose the injection in the window of "Release from Injections".

Hi Lacy,

I just read the partical track part in the manual. It seems I have to define some injections to track particles and the injections are for discrete phase modal. However my case is a single phase flow. So I am wondering if I can use partical track in my modal. Thanks.
