Hi everybody, I’m trying to solve a simple problem to which I haven’t found a solution yet. I hope you can help me. I have an object, let’s say a Frisbee. I measured the value of the static pressure in a wind tunnel by means of a precise number of probes properly placed on the Frisbee. Now I run the simulation within Fluent and I’d like to know the value of the static pressure at the probe coordinates (which are known). Do I have to create a huge number of “point-surface” (about 150) or is there a easier and smarter way to obtain what I want? Thank you very much.

Hi
I would suggest to write a journal file you can feed to Fluent. File-> Read-> Journal To find the appropriate txt command for the journal file a quite conveninet way is to hit the enter key so that Fluent shows you the available options. If the instructions in your journal file are repetitive you can write the journal file with a scripting language. I use perl. Tony |
