Hi friends,
I am doing simulation of an electron beam (100W) attack a layer of metal. Assume that 100% energy of the beam transfer to heat and the attack area (electron beam size) is a circle with diameter is 100um. What should i do to input this energy to the metal layer? I can see one option in fluent is input heat flux for the contact surface (of electron beam and the metal). If yes, how should i calculate the heatflux? Thank you very much for reading and help. Ryan. |
