I am working on a ROV project for a summer internship and have done several 2D and a few 3D simulations (using FLUENT as a part of ANSYS 12.1) of a flow past the ROV. The simulation I am working up to is one with active thrusters.
Here is an image of the modell with thruster tunnels: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/att...1&d=1311264338 Any tips/tricks for simulating the thrusters sucking in and accelerating the flow? I do not have the propeller design/spesifications. |
