flow rate for half geometry -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

alecon88 New Member Alessandra Join Date: Jan 2012 Posts: 14 Rep Power: 14	Hi! I have done an half geometry with DM and I have started simulation with fluent. At first I have used half flow rate in Boundary Conditions but know the result of energy balance is strange, it seems like if I need to inser the total flow rate..do you know if Fluent 14.0 automatically divide the total flow rate by 2 when half-symmetry plane is defined? Thank you
