I am regretting I had to keep it to the last day.

CAN someone please tell me how to do SIMPLE 40km/hr WINDSPEED over a SIMPLE BOX.

I have been searching online but most of the tutorial are for 2d top view. I need the streamline animation.

i have the fluent installed, I got up to the mesh part but I'm stuck from there.

Like the body is 'solid' aluminum and the flow should be air at 40km/hr, with gravity.

Need help only in the FLUENT part, I have mesh created on the body, JUST DON'T HOW TO USE FLUENT.

Using Ansys 14.
PLEASE HELP A FELLOW UNDERGRAD!

Yes, very simple shape. Let me upload it on it here.

cfd-online doesn't support it

Hi Mechfries,

Well it was midnight where I live and I do not believe this is the kind of message that will get you help. It is not a hotline service here, only CFD users who kindly share information and support each other.

If you want to model the flow around an object, then you have to model the volume of fluid around your object. I think you should start with some basic tutorials and then you'll be able to make the mesh and run this in Fluent.

Basic tutorial only concern with 2d not 3d.

Even in 2D you model the fluid volume, not the solid shape.

Fluent Introductory Tutorial n. 26 - Postprocessing gives an overview of what a flow around a box looks like.

Thanks man. But time ran out.

Not to sound like a jerk but this forum is pretty much dead.
