Introduction to CFD

I start to learn CFD. In this moment I want to solve the flow of fluid through a vertical rectangular duct and then it will be used to solve the problem of a liquid fluidized bed separator. How can I approach the problem? Any intorductory soft matreial is highly appreciated.

How can I approach the problem? Any suggestions and intorductory soft matreial is highly appreciated. regards
