Hi Friends, i have two kind of DNS results of round jet configuation (for non-premixed combustion) one with 12 times the Komogorov scale and another with 6 times the Kolmogorov scales, and I calculated both Integral length scales and Taylore microscales, i found that Integral length scale values is smaller for fine ressolution results(6 time Kolmo), where as for Taylor microscale, there is no much change in magnitude for both the ressolutions, is it right or wrong, may i know the physics behind this please.. does it mean that Taylormicroscale is indipendent of grid ressolution or what?
thankyou very much |
