Hi friends..I am simulating the flow over a wedge shaped body using Ansys-CFX. The flow over the wedge is being Hypersonic(M5.75). I am neglecting viscous terms in the energy equation. I made the as blunt body with nose radii of 20, 40, 60, 80 mm one after the other. Now I was expecting the temperature on the surface of the wedge with sharp tip should be more than any other geometry. But the thing is being completely reverse....Plz help me. Regards VVJ.
