Folks,
Figured that a lot of you use LSF and cannot seem to find an answer to this elswhere. I would like LSF to touch a file (in my case stopgasp but it could be exit-fluent or abort for you star folks) which will stop the computation cleanly before the que time limit expires. According to the LSF manual (which I read) this can be done. However after a long Dogpile session (I use it not google) I have not been able to find an example where an actual unix command rather than an unix signal is issued. The LSF option is -wa 'command' LSF complains that my wa option is an invalid signal. I have tried back quotes, double quotes, double quotes in single quotes etc. No luck Has anyone sucessfully used this LSF option with a unix command? How did you do it? Any help is appreciated.
