Hello I am analyzing a heat exchanger we are in the process of designing, using the flow simulation from a solid works platform. It can't simulate a true flame so therefore my exhaust temperatures coming out of the stack are not accurate. I realize if will never be exact but I need some suggestions on how to set up the radiant heat source to get it as close as possible. Any suggestions will be most helpful. I have it set up based on the software trainer's recommendation as far as parameters go, radiation, convective coefficients, mesh etc. I just need set up my volume heat source elements in such a way as to get the most accurate results. So far there has been a lot of trial and error and the trainer is not experienced with flame simulation
Thanks, Steve |
