I have been trying to generate a combustion mesh for a mexican hat piston with tappered edge,though i was successful but it happens that i had a lot of non-convex cells and cell inversion in my mesh ans its making it impossible for me to continue with my computation.Please can anyone give me a hand on this problem.Anxiously waiting for a reply.

Thank you very much for your contribution.I'm actually experiencing the difficulty (non-convex and inverted cell) using KIVA-3V (K3PREP) mesh generation program.Incase you have any advice towards this i will really be grateful.Thanks again for the response.

I wouldn't mind,its just that i am not too familiar with GAMBIT.Also,i dont know if it can work with KIVA-3V main program.Please,enlighten more.Thank you and i wait for your response.

If you are using unstructured version of KIVA then GAMBIT is ok..If this is the case send me drawings of your geometry I will have a look and hope to generate the suitable grid for you.
