I have been trying to generate a combustion mesh for a mexican hat piston with tappered edge, though i was successful but it happens that i had a lot of non-convex cells and cell inversion in my mesh ans its making it impossible for me to continue with my computation. Please can anyone give me a hand on this problem.Anxiously waiting for a reply.

Thank you very much for your contribution.I'm actually experiencing the difficulty (non-convex and inverted cell) using KIVA-3V (K3PREP) mesh generation program.Incase you have any advice towards this i will really be grateful. Thanks again for the response.

If you are using unstructured version of KIVA then GAMBIT is ok..If this is the case send me drawings of your geometry I will have a look and hope to generate the suitable grid for you.
