No such thing. I thought that's what the OP was asking for and I was going to point out the error in that line of thought. Blade Element Momentum theory is a quasi-2D theory, expanding beyond that invalidates the assumptions inherent to its formulation.
It is possible to couple BEM with CFD and treat the rotor like a momentum source with its output determined by BEM and inflow conditions driven by the CFD model. |
