Hello Everyone
What is the meaning of farfield and farfield resolution? I came across this term while reading a paper on " Flow across a square cylinder"? |

farfield means far away from the object of interest. If you look up a 2D c-grid mesh of an airfoil for example, the farfield is the outer bounds of the domain ( sans the inlet and the outlet). The resolution refers to the mesh size. Normally at the farfield, the mesh resolution is coarse.
