Dear all
Can someone please help me out which co-ordinates do I use to produce one out of the 22 blade geometry in Solidworks for the Nasa Rotor 67? Thanks a ton!

Hi Guys, I am doing project based on rotor 37 or rotor 67. I need geometry and documentation having detail in terms of flow field analysis through rotor blades or boundary conditions. Please send it to me at manpreet_singh_er@yahoo.co.in
Thanks

That all is great, but I can't find anywhere coordinates of hub and shroud surfaces of Rotor 67. What am I doing wrong?

Same as RacMat I claim dear forumers to share their positive results of Rotor 67 simulation. Because I also faced some problems and I think your materials would be very helpfull to all of us.

Actually, I have not tried CFD simulation with your geometry yet. But your geometry looks sharp to me (specially the outlet). That's why I am saying maybe it is cause of your failure in the CFD. However, I could not create the geometry myself because I don't know how can transfer the blade-section coordinate to the Cartesian coordinate. Could you explain how your geometry was created?

Hi,

i think that the geometry in the GrabCAD forum was created using bladegen/turbogrid

what do you mean by sharp at the outlet?

I am just guessing. Are you sure that your geometry is correct?

i am not sure as i havent checked the geometry with the coordinates provided in the paper. I just assumed it to be correct.

Rafiee18,

Can you send me the mesh in fluent format please? I would appreciate your help!!!

Thanks
