As a mac user I welcome the coming of a CFD code to MacOSX. It is the TetrUSS code (plus a suite of interesting utilities) developed by NASA. Unfortunately this code is available only for American citizens or entities. Does someone know this code? Is it a really interesting code? And finally, does someone know if for foreign people it is possible to have this code?
My main field of application will be space propulsion and related aspects. Thanks, Mauro. weblink: http://aaac.larc.nasa.gov/tsab/tetruss/mac/ |

TetrUSS is a set of tools for unstructured viscous mesh generation, geometry preprocessing, turbulent flow solution, and visualization for three-dimensional tetrahedral meshes. It also has modules for aeroelasticity and inverse design. Its use has predominantly been for external aerodynamics.
As a NASA developed package, TetrUSS is subject to export restrictions. You will not be able to obtain the package if you are outside the United States. |
