SIMPLE Algorithm -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

shreya Guest Posts: n/a	I entered into Numerical Methods a couple of days back. My professor asked me to formulate a program in C using SIMPLE method given by Patankar. I have been reading the book 'Numerical Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow' by Patankar. I have a couple of questions. If anybody can answer me it will be of great help. my questions are: 1) how to calculate the velocity coeeficients in the momemtum equation (pg. 122, eq 6.8-6.10) ? 2) Is velocity coefficient 'ae' and pressure coefficient 'aE' different ? 3) Can time-step be ignored ? -Shreya
